At BJL Diving we believe that we offer the highest possible level of dive training. Our courses are not the cheapest, but we are confident they are some of the best dive training available in the world. At BJL Diving our focus is on making sure the student diver develops the skills to dive at the level they are seeking so they can safely complete even the most difficult dives. We simply want to provide the best SCUBA training possible. BJL Diving is owned and operated by Ben Lair. Ben is a full-time dive professional that focuses on technical diving courses for both diver level and technical diving instructor courses. Ben teaches open circuit, closed circuit, and overhead environment courses for divers of all levels including technical instructor level courses. What makes us unique is that we have three home bases (Arizona, North Florida, and Playa del Carmen, Mexico) that we primarily offer training out of but we are equipped to teach all over the world. At BJL Diving our focus is on making sure the student diver develops the skills to dive at the level they are seeking so they can safely complete even the most difficult dives. We simply want to provide the best SCUBA training possible. BJL Diving is owned and operated by lead instructor Ben Lair.
Ben is a full-time dive professional who focuses on the higher level technical diving courses for both the diver looking learn, and instructors looking extend their teaching offerings. He teaches open circuit, closed circuit, and overhead environment courses for divers of all levels including technical instructor level courses, and is the owner of Paragon Dive Group and Cave Country Dive Shop.
Ben teaches his courses all over the world but considers High Springs, Florida and San Carlos, Mexico as his home bases. He splits his time between these two locations as primary training locations to be able to offer consistent quality education. San Carlos for overhead wreck courses and High Springs for cave courses. He also teaches multiple rebreather units (Dive Rite CM O2ptima, Halcyon SYMBIOS, rEvo, Divesoft Liberty SM, Sump UK S7) out of both locations.
